Description
ISOL Shell is a pipe insulation solution made of stone mineral wool, designed for insulating pipes. The longitudinal fiber orientation provides high mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and excellent insulation performance. It is available with or without reinforced aluminium foil; the ALU-foil version includes a self-adhesive longitudinal strip for secure closing. Depending on diameter and thickness, the insulation consists of 1 to 4 longitudinal segments. The product’s maximum service temperature is up to 450°C, and the melting point of the stone wool is above 1000°C.
