Title: Improving the competitiveness of “Chemical Products” OOD by increasing production capacity and exports

Total value: BGN 397,718.12, of which BGN 236,642.27 European co-financing, BGN 41,760.41. national co-financing and co-financing by Chemical Products Ltd. in the amount of BGN 119,315.44.

The general goal of the project is: The general goal of the project proposal is to increase the competitiveness of “Chemical Products” Ltd. for the realization of its own production on the European and world market.

The specific objectives of the project are:

1. Expansion of the production capacity of “Chemical products” OOD, for two of the existing products: pipe insulation Isolpipe and products for hydroponic cultivation IsolAgro, to satisfy the market volumes of demand.

2. Reduction of high production costs;

3. Limiting the use of old technologies and equipment for the implementation of production processes;

The planned activity through which the stated goals will be achieved is:

“Improving the production capacity in the “Foiling of pipe insulation” workshop and the “Hydroponic products” workshop. This activity envisages the purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning of a highly automated machine for foiling (lamination) of pipe insulation from stone wool - DMA 1 - 1 pc. and an automated wrapping (packing) machine with water-retaining film of stone wool lamellas - DMA 2 - 1 pc. will be executed through external procurement with a public invitation.

The following steps will be performed:

• selection of contractors for delivery of assets (from month 1 to month 6)

• conclusion of supply contracts with the selected contractors (from month 5 to month 7)

• delivery of the planned assets and signing of handover protocols (from month 7 to month 10)

  • installation, testing and commissioning of the assets (from month 9 to month 12)

  Expected results:

1. Increased production capacity for foiling mineral stone wool pipe insulation from 1800 to 3600 meters per day

2. Increased production capacity for production of IsolAGro hydroponics product from 960 pcs. up to 4320 pcs. per day.

3. Reduced production costs for labor and for used electricity.

4. Limited use of old technologies and equipment to carry out production processes.

5. Increased competitiveness for the realization of own production on the European and world market.
